It's a cozy money-skills game for kids aged 8 to 12. Think "Duolingo for money." Kids learn real financial habits by working through short lessons, and as they learn, a frozen dragon world slowly wakes back up into colour.
The learning is genuine: earning, saving, needs vs wants, giving, waiting. But it's wrapped in a story kids actually want to come back to.
It's designed for ages 8 to 12, the years when kids first start getting allowance, making spending choices, and forming the money habits they'll carry for life. The reading level, pacing, and tone are all built for that age.
We're in the final stretch of building it. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the moment it's ready. Parents on the list hear first. It's coming to iOS and Android.
Safety is the whole design, not a setting. There are no ads, no third-party advertising trackers, and no social features. Your child can't chat with, message, or be contacted by anyone. There's nowhere to type free text, so nothing personal can be shared by accident.
The full detail is in our promise to parents and privacy policy.
No. Your child never logs in. You own the one account, and your child plays under a profile you create and control. In fact, your child can start playing before any account exists at all. The opening adventure runs entirely on the device, with nothing sent to us.
An account only gets created when you, the parent, decide to unlock the rest of the world.
As little as possible: essentially a dragon nickname your child picks from preset choices (not their real name) and their learning progress. We do not collect your child's real name, email, phone number, or location.
Their data is hosted in Canada, and behind a parent gate you can review or delete it any time. We never sell it or use it to build a profile of your child.
None. There is no advertising anywhere in Wealthii Kids, and nothing in the app is built to hold your child's attention past the lesson.
Ten core money and life skills, taught in an order that builds: earning, needs vs wants, goal setting, savings habits, generosity and sharing, smart spending, delayed gratification, tracking and budgeting, time management, and putting it all together.
Each one maps to a realm your child unlocks as they climb from the first cave to the summit.
The dragon world starts frozen in grey stone, under a curse that fell when the Guardians began hoarding their gems. As your child finishes lessons, the world thaws: colour returns, realms light up, and the Guardian dragons wake. Progress in the learning is literally what brings the world back to life.
So much of our relationship with money is emotional: the worry, the impulse, the guilt. Pause moments are short breathing and reflection beats woven into the journey that help kids notice how they're feeling before they make a choice. They're a core part of the experience, because a calm head around money matters as much as the facts.
As little as it takes to learn. There are no punishing streaks, no lives or timers, and no pressure to open the app daily. Lessons are short and self-contained, so there's always a natural place to stop. The app doesn't fight you at bedtime.
No. There is no way for a child to spend real money inside the game. The gems they use to decorate their world are earned by learning. There's no purchasable currency, no loot boxes, and no "buy more gems" button.
The only purchase is an optional subscription, which only you can make, through the app store.
The free tier is a complete little experience: your child picks and names their dragon, plays through the first cave (Ember Hearth), and gets the full loop of earning gems, spending them, and decorating, plus their first learning unit.
A paid plan unlocks the rest of the world: all ten realms and lessons, the full décor catalogs and quest map, and the Parent Hub. See current pricing.
No, and this matters to us. Paying unlocks more world to explore, never a faster way to win. It doesn't change how quickly gems are earned, it doesn't remove any "lives," and it never buys a shortcut past the learning. The two never cross: learning unlocks new territory, gems just decorate it.
The 1-child plan unlocks the full world for one child profile. The Family plan does the same but lets you set up multiple child profiles, each with their own dragon and their own world, all under one Parent Hub. You can cancel either anytime through your app store.
Yes, and it's one of the things that makes Wealthii Kids different. As the app grows, you get your own guide in the parent dashboard: an ancient dragon, [name TBD], that helps you look at your own money habits and turns them into short, gentle reflections.
As your child finishes their lessons and you work through your insights, you wake [the ancient dragon] together, one shared goal for the whole family.
[the ancient dragon] is a slumbering guardian that only stirs when both of you do your part: your child through lessons, you through your parent insights. It's the reward at the heart of the family journey, and a reason to keep showing up together.
No. Your guide offers behavioural coaching on your relationship with money: noticing patterns, building awareness, gentle reflection. It never gives financial advice, never tells you what to buy, and never recommends products. It's the same line we hold everywhere: this is about your relationship with money, not your money itself.
You own the account and everything under it. From the parent area, protected by a PIN only you set, you can follow your child's progress, review the information we've collected, delete it, manage or cancel your subscription, and withdraw consent. Your child can't reach any of it.
Nothing is deleted. If a subscription lapses, your child's profiles and everything they've built stay put. The paid content simply re-locks, and adding new child profiles pauses, until you resubscribe. Pick up right where you left off.
